Have my metrics changed

Venture capital funding is much slower than it was 18 months ago. I was asked this week if the metrics I am looking for have changed.

Mine haven't but the market's has so I am looking for founders to have adapted.

They should assume raises will take longer, be smaller and at lower valuations. (This won't be true for all.)
They should have a plan B if they don't hit their targets.
They should aim for profitability sooner.

It doesn't matter what I want. It does matter what the market wants and that they are aware of that.
